Joined the BCEAC organization several years ago representing First United Methodist Church and Celebrate Recovery Ministry.  As an active member, I have served as a voice of needs and support for the incarcerated as they re entry the community.  More recently, being a military veteran and leading a Welcome Home open share group for military veterans, encouraging the membership to increase awareness and responsiveness for mental and emotional struggles.  The church community can and should deliberately reach out to those who have served or serving in the military and all first responders that need assistance in balancing their mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.
